A Deep Dive into the Neurology of Chronic Pain

Why Do We Suffer From Chronic Pain?

In this 78th podcast episode I discuss some important neurology that is involved with chronic pain. Regardless of whether you have chronic neck or back pain, fibromyalgia, headaches, or other conditions, the process of pain perception in the brain is largely the same.

By understanding four primary mechanisms in the brain and nervous system, we can start to appreciate ways to moderate pain severity and suffering. Up to 30% of human beings suffer chronic pain, so this is no small topic.

In this episode I will discuss not only a few supplement-based therapies, but how the suffering from pain is largely an emotional concept. Many cases of chronic pain can effectively be helped through working on emotional stagnations.

Lastly, I even draw from one of my favorite Harry Potter monsters. Tune in to find out why.
